Authorization on DEP APIs

CNHi authorization methodology takes advantage of a user's Dealer Portal credentials to access DEP APIs, no new set credentials needed. The UserID and Password will be set up in the Dealer Portal by the Dealer uniquely for DMS access to interfaces.

The Dealer Management System, or DMS, will use Basic Auth within the HTTP header with username/password. Each DMS provider will have an encrypted key assigned by CNH team, please reach out to dlnadmssupport@cnh.com for assistance.

Finally, CNH External API will require the encrypted key in HTTP header to identify the client.
